This weeks photowalk was at the National Mall at Washington DC. I went there with my family and we had a great time. I didn't bring my DSLR for a few reasons, but I took two of my other cameras. The trip was planned for MLK Day, not really thinking how busy it may be over there.

So, this is being posted late on Wednesday, I'm glad I moved my deadline from Sunday night to Wednesday night.

This is the Killen pond nature center from across the pond. The sun was starting to head down and it gave it a nice orange glow that really helped the color pop.

So this is the first photowalk I took for my 52 photowalks. I ended up walking through the woods near my mother-in-laws for about an hour with my daughter to see what we could find.

So I just wanted to take a shot of my beautiful wife to try out my new lens (50mm f/1.8 OM) It really wasn't intended to be a shot that I did anything with, but as I looked at it I really liked it.

So I've decided...

I've decided to take on a photography project for 2010 year.  I thought long and hard about a 365 project and really just couldn't imagine the stress of coming up with a shot a day that I would be comfortable sharing.
